The WestWood Shed is located in the heart of Vanderbilt's multiple complexes, and other medical facilites. Suite #3 is Visitable & Accessible — designed for Guests & thier Visitors requiring a wheelchair accessibility. This Suite has 5 foot turning spaces in every room, a roll-in shower, ADA compliant appliances, & built-in special design features throughout the entire Suite. Suites #1 & 4 are Visitable for guests with some accessible living features. A Visitable Office has zero step entrance, 36" front & restroom doors, and a restroom with 5' wheelchair turning space with adequate railing — an accessible place for your visitors. The 3 first floor Suites have a connecting boardwalk with a wheelchair ramp, and a shared ADA parking space (reserved by guests first). For corporate housing, & professional work stays — Short Term Rentals over 7 days has a Weekly Rentals Discount at 15% off; & for stays over 30 days, the Long Term Rental Discount is 32%.

A designated space where you can work & conduct business activities. This area is designed to provide a casual, yet professional environment while also being comfortable and conducive to productivity.
The 50″ TV is hardwired to the internet, has local channels & Netflix. It may be used as a computer monitor — the HDMI cable is attached to the rear.
This front room also creates a 2nd bedroom in the Suite — upon request, we will setup a low platform with a queen air mattress. This setup does effect the professional appearance of an office, but is perfect for travelers needing a 2nd room.
Being open to the Office-Living Room, allows you to prepare meals and snacks conveniently while entertaining. Every kitchen is stocked with cookware & accessories needed for cooking your own meals during your stay.
Suite #3 has the most spacious kitchen layout to allow wheelchair accessibility. ADA compliant: refrigerator, stove, sink with under-counter space. Over 50% of the cabinetry is in reach. And, the island is on large locking casters allowing you to adjust the room as you may require.
Suite #3’s counter tops are solid Douglas Fir, reclaimed from the building we demolished to create more parking. The length & width of the boards, and ring counts leads us to believe we salvaged old growth lumber. You’ll find it throughout Suite #3.
Provided are a few items for your short term home-office rental, at no extra cost: a gallon of drinking water, strong & medium roast coffee for the 14 cup coffee maker, black & green teas, some munchies, organic oatmeal packs, small organic milk containers, sugar, salt & pepper.
Privacy is essential when it comes to a living & work space. Each Suite is equipped with a separate bedroom that can be locked with a key, ensuring that you have a personal space to relax, get a good night’s sleep, & a private space you do not have to share with co-workers or visitors.
Suite #3 has a comfortable, queen Beautyrest mattress, additional pillow topper, protective allergen cover, and cotton sheets. The bed was custom designed with a 9.5″ toe space underneath for wheelchairs, and tops at 23″ high.
There is a 2nd TV in the bedroom (43″), hard-wired to the internet with local channels & Netflix.
There is a 5 foot turning space between the bed and closet-vanity.
Your accessible restroom has a 36″ door that opens into the front office-living space. There is a 5 foot turning space & adequate railing.
Inside of the restroom are 2 other doors — one 36″ keyed door leads into the bedroom; the second 36″ pocket door leads into the extended bathroom with a roll-in shower & laundry — allowing you to block your private spaces from your visitors.
Suite #3’s ADA compliant, side-by-side washer & dryer in your Suite means you can easily take care of your laundry needs without leaving the comfort of your own space.
All the Suites at the WestWood Shed feature a private vanity area, which can be useful for getting ready in the mornings or preparing for virtual meetings or visitors. In Suite #3, the closet was tailored to the needs of one in a wheelchair, and is a favorite to all guests. The closet extends across one wall with 3 sliding mirrored doors; there’s a roll-under vanity with makeup lighting; cabinetry and shelves for clothing storage; & clothing rods with one adjustable rod that can be lowered or raised according to your need.
Provided are a few clothing washer soap pods; bathroom shower gel, shampoo & conditioner; hand soaps in dispensers; several dishwasher soap pods; dish soap & scrubbing pads. Dish sponges are not reused.
Mid-stay cleaning services are available when scheduled in advance.
